Inara looks at the wall, "Well boys... it's supposed to be 'secret'... I guess it shouldn't make too much noise. Would be silly to have a very loud secret... And I think we're still the only one's up in this area. Still better than roping it down, I think."
Inara thinks for a moment. "Voss, Stones, Remmy, Radegast? Wanna flex some manly pex while I sit here uselessly?"
Stones grunts out his thoughts in a strange rhythm, "agreed, we push it...push it real good..."
"WHERE... did you get that?" Inara stares intently at the brand that Stones is holding in his hand.
"Upstairs, before the funeral when I first got here. It was hanging in the room and I grabbed it...it looked...interesting...do you recognize the symbol?" Stones continues to hold the object.
Inara shakes her head from side-to-side, "I don't think it will help you open anything. It's a slave brand. You probably don't want decent folk seeing you with it either. But for now it will make for an interesting conversation piece once we find ourselves a priest."
Inara looks back at the wall.
"Push boys."
Voss steps forward, seamlessly switching positions with Alion. "We'll push, but anyone who can cast a spell or wield a weapon, get ready to. We could be interrupting their breakfast."
Voss sheathes his blades and places both strong hands on the wall, wedging the toe of his boot as securely as possible in a crack in the stone floor.
Elby nods, he takes two steps backward - wiggling past Inara and Remsfeld - takes out two arrows and nocks them.
Remsfeld slides his sword into his sheath, looks back toward Inara to make sure she is right behind him.
Hack-ptooey. He fires the loogy into his hands, rubs them together and takes the position second inside left on the wall.
Four people squeezes into a space meant for two.
Qwyn, who has been watching intently suddenly pipes up, "Gents, be careful. I believe there's a portal on the other side. Could lead somewhere particularly nasty. I wouldn't recommend going near it."
Voss pulls his hands away from the wall.
Stones looks over his shoulder at the tiefling. "You can sense this? Interesting...Perhaps it would take us further down the rabbit hole, deeper into the temple. Perhaps not. It is good to know it is there so we don't rush headlong into the portal..."
The brand seems to vanish into darkness as Stones braces himself against the wall and tests his stance and traction on the floor, trying to dig his heels in before pushing. He motions to Radegast, "come brother, time to break a sweat..."
Radegast shrugs, stepping forward and finding a spot to push his hands against the wall.
Voss repositions his hands against the wall. "Donal brought us together. Our cause is just. Our fate is in Krom's hands now. Let's go."
From left to right:
Stones, Remsfelt, Radegast, Voss
Muscles bulge, inadvertent groans escape tightened mouths and the wall moves slowly under
the onslaught of brute force. As the wall moves inches forward the first rays of light seep in around its edges. You can see that the wall does NOT extend all of the way to the ceiling - it is about ten feet tall.
Thankfully everything is relatively silent.
It takes a full minute of pushing before there is enough space where you would be able to slip past. Which is precisely when you hear the loud click of tumblers being forced into place.
As the wall pushes inward you feel a whoosh of air as the near vacuum of the hallway is breached. Light pours in from the corners as the wall - really a slab of rock - pushes into the next room. Whatever is in the next room is well lit!
The wall continues sliding away at a slow speed, seemingly on its own, and you are able to stop pushing and draw your weapons.
2 feet away.
...and the wall keeps going...
5 feet away.
...and going...
7 feet away.
The wall comes to a halting stop, for the briefest of moments it is fully erect. It then teeters forward, tipping over...
WHAM
...the floor shakes from the impact as stone meets stone and the wall is reduced to cinders.
It gives you a clear view of the room though.

Directly in front of you is a pit. You can clearly see into it - Humans, dwarves, elves, halflings, and others, all apparently recently killed but all wearing clothing and armor of an earlier age. The pile of bodies seems to shift, as though something might be moving beneath it.
Above you, at the top of the pit, you see a hideous, two-headed giant—he’s rubbing
two blades together with an eager gleam in the eyes of both its horrifying heads (the G on the map).
You see a flash of something large and green moving through the refuse beneath your feet. It might be a giant snake or worm (the C on the map).

DM Notes:
* You are still outside where Qwyn said there is a portal - you step into the room and your are essentially going through the portal. That is if Qwyn is even correct.
* If you are not in the front row of characters you cannot squeeze by as there are too many people in the way - basically you need to wait a second.
