Question:
Should DMs ever fudge a rule to give a player an extra turn or move or action?

Answer:
Yes. I have been known to give an extra minor action in the name of increasing the drama or just feeling like common-sense gives the moment a little more fun.

It should always be fun. No extra attacks though. That makes it unbalanced.
