Elby’s trademark efficient hunting lets forth like a boar striking out. The arrows whip through the air toward the creature in L6. The first shot goes high, hitting the wooden bookshelf. The arrow strikes with enough force that there is a loud CRACK and the shelf splinters.
Whatever is holding these shelves together isn’t much!
The second arrow strikes true, slamming into the creature’s chest with enough force to knock it backward (into K5.)
Radegast takes another swing with his Axe-hammer. He continues to judge how tough and hard it is to hit the creature. The creature is definitely not nearly as tough as the Ettin. The Axe-hammer strikes home once again.
The creature gives Radegast a particularly dull look. As though it passes no judgment on what is happening.
Stones, in a slight daze, opts to stay put and pull his bow from his shoulder with his left hand, while also performing the now familiar magic missile incantation. Holding the bow in his left hand, he stretches his right hand towards the apparition in L1 and let's loose the magic missiles.
The silvery bolt of force strikes toward the enemy. At the last possible second the bowman moves its head, with the missile striking the wall instead.
He tries to use the bookcase for as much cover as possible while keeping his back to the doors the party came through. He is aware now of these creatures' ability to teleport and phase through objects so he is keeping all enemies as much in front of himself as possible.
"I'd burn this place to the floor of I had any sense," he mutters, scanning the many enemies in the room.
The princess disappears back into Stones’ shoulder.
The West Most Ghost Bowman pulls back an invisible string before letting go. There is a streak of glistening white energy that lands between Elby and Stones (11-0). The psychic energy rattles the minds of both warriors. (Stones 7 hp, Elby 6 hp).
The East Most Ghost Bowman lets loose with its own psychic arrow toward Radegast. The psychic energy is too much for the half-elf to overcome (14 hp) and the half-elf is dazed.
The West Most Foot Soldier (the one Elby hit) rushes forward with a fluid, rapid ease; covering the ground to put himself directly in front of Elby. The scimitar is made from the same psychic energy as the arrows that the Ghost Bowmen fired. The Scimitar slices easily through the halfling’s defenses (7 hp) and for a moment is feels like his head has been caved in.
Elby is also dazed.
The East Mode Food Solider silently moves toward the party at the doorway (L-14).
The M Creatures continues to stare at Radegast. It raises its hand where a psychic scimitar forms. It brings the weapon down toward Radegast. Radegast barely moves out of the way as the weapon hits the books.
Radegast could swear that the words on the binding of the book disappear when the weapon strikes it.
At the doorway Stones clears his head and is no longer dazed.
“This is bad!” cries Noienna, emanating somewhere from within Stones’s chest. Suddenly the Ghost Bowman who Stone’s attacked (L1) is struck from above you a sacred light. Elby feels some of his strength return (+12 hp).
