Radegast calmly steps toward a bookshelf. That is when everything happens at once.
The original creatures which appeared in front of you fade out of existence, only to reappear across the room high above some bookshelves. Originally wielding scimitars the weapons fade out of existence, replaced by bows which hold no arrows (1-L and E-22).
Behind bookshelves two massive, faceless creatures armed with scimitars fade into existence. The air around the scimitars radiate with a dull, pulsing energy (6-L and G-16 - see picture before.)
For the briefest of moments it feels like there is a creature inside of your brain howling to get out. Neurons fire, dendrites twist and you feel as though a great beast has been unleashed. Elby takes 12 hit point damage, Stones 8 – both men are dazed - though Radegast shakes his head before the invisible beast takes hold.
He teleports away, reappearing behind a bookshelf to find himself face-to-face with another creature that you did not see before. Not until it attacked you. (K17 and L17). The creature shimmers with silver light as though caught between multiple places at once.
DM Notes:
- Initiative is Elby, Stones then Radegast.
- The following rules apply for dazed.
✦ You can take either a standard action, a move action, or a minor action on your turn (you can also take free actions). You can’t take immediate actions or opportunity actions.
✦ You can’t flank an enemy.
