DM Notes: DM Makes Mistake...World Still Standing

Player Rick rightfully called out that I didn't let him have a chance to react during the last combat. Specifically he wanted to use an action point. An action point I thought he had used in the first round of combat.

My mistake.

Unfortunately everyone had made moves since then. In this case I use what is called the "way back" machine, which is an instance I actually covered in the FAQ.

At least this improves the play process a bit. I admit that some of these new rules, powers, functions and features are twisting my brain into a Gordian knot. Rick and his terrible d20 rolls so far were the victim.

We shall continue onward and upward. Though I did get to ask the question of "does your power work if someone teleports to another dimension?"

I love this game.
